Under general supervision, this role is responsible for providing training courses to customers and employees who are undergoing a product installation/conversion, as well as those who request continuing education. Therefore, this role would serve as a continuous resource for institutions throughout their learning journey. Training courses and workshops are conducted either at a customer's location, via internet-based or other eLearning means, or at a Jack Henry location. 

This position can be worked remotely throughout the U.S. The salary range for this position would be between $55,000 - $68,000 per year and would ultimately be based on the candidate’s location and experience.  

What you'll be responsible for: 

Delivers software and service training courses or workshops. Customizes training and procedures for each customer situation, and may consult with the customer for appropriate customizationSpends time preparing selected training materials and environment for use during live and web-based training sessionsTests and maintains software for training purposesActs as knowledge partner for customers during and after initial implementation and offers ongoing educational support  Makes changes to training materials based on customer feedback and needs assessment. Assesses the quality of training formats and/or proceduresSeeks increased knowledge of features and functions of products and services. Increases knowledge of current training techniques and practices. Keeps current on product changes, upgrades, and industry trendsPrioritizes tasks and documents problemsMay participate in user conferencesSupports, trains, and assists less experienced peersMay perform other job duties as assigned

What you'll need to have: 

5 years of experience in software applications training, technical product support and/or implementation Experience in a financial institution or fin-techAssociate’s degree or an additional 4 years of experience in software applications training, technical product support and/or implementationAbility to travel 20% of the time

What would be nice for you to have: 

Experience with ACH/wire transfersTraining certification preferredHas a wide range of experience and is able to resolve complex issues.  Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.  Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutionsExcellent knowledge of the financial industryExcellent knowledge of Jack Henry productsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, digital-based training tools, and tutorial-building softwareAble to deliver software applications trainingAble to meet aggressive deadlinesStrong communication, customer interaction, project management, and public speaking skills
