Summary

Under general direction, this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include operation of a newer model application equipment, delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers, equipment and plant maintenance and fertilizer blending. 

Key Responsibilities Product application, calibrating application equipment, application equipment maintenance, and cleaning and storing application equipment Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers General plant equipment maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities Receiving and unloading product deliveries and warehouse/inventory responsibilities Misc. duties such as special projects, attending provided trainings, providing back-up when/where needed

Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience Two plus years related experience and/or training. Knowledge of the local geography/roads/farms and ability to develop trust with management that moderate to heavy traffic can be negotiated effectively. Ability to assist in equipment rebuilds  Ability to calibrate a variety of application equipment  Ability to maintain maintenance records for equipment  Ability to set up and calibrate injection equipment is a plus Basic knowledge in the areas of mechanical, electrical welding and metal fabrication are a plus Required Certifications Have or able to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License.
