Appointment Coordinator

Adecco is looking for appointment coordinators in the Royal Oak, MI area. This is a direct hire role, and you will be hired on full time with the client starting out. The client is looking for EMR (Electronic Medical Record System), ADP experience, and appointment scheduling experience. This is a standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **Job Summary** The candidate will work as an Appointment Coordinator, focusing on managing patient appointment scheduling and administrative tasks in a medical office setting. They will ensure accurate data entry in the EMR system and maintain compliance with relevant regulations while providing courteous service to patients and staff. The job is for someone who schedules appointments for patients at a doctor's office and makes sure all information is correct in the computer system. This person also needs to be friendly when talking to people on the phone or in person.
**Skill Requirements**
+ **Must-Have Requirements:**
+ **Appointment Scheduling** experience
+ Proficiency with **Electronic Medical Record (EMR)** systems
+ Strong **Data Management** skills
+ Knowledge of **HIPAA** , **ADA** , **OSHA** , and **FLSA** regulations
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ **Preferred Requirements:**
1. Experience in a medical office setting
2. Associate's degree or higher **Skill Education**
+ **Appointment Scheduling:** Refers to organizing times for patients to meet with healthcare providers efficiently.
+ **Electronic Medical Record (EMR):** A digital version of a patient's paper chart that contains medical history, treatments, test results, etc.
+ **Data Management:** The process of collecting, storing, managing, and maintaining information securely and efficiently.
+ **HIPAA:** Stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; it ensures patient health information privacy.
+ **ADA:** Stands for Americans with Disabilities Act; it prohibits discrimination based on disability.
+ **OSHA:** Stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration; it ensures workplace safety standards are met.
+ **FLSA:** Stands for Fair Labor Standards Act; it establishes minimum wage, overtime pay eligibility, recordkeeping requirements.
**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
