They help dispensaries and cannabis brands grow through compliant, data-driven outreach and a modern tech stack. Why does this role exist?
The client needs a dependable, process-driven SDR to run compliant prospecting and appointment setting using their cannabis-specific database and outreach tools. This role exists to generate qualified meetings for the sales team, maintain clean CRM data in HubSpot, and free up internal bandwidth—especially for the sales director—by taking ownership of prospect list building, outreach, and scheduling. The goal is a reliable, scalable alternative to past vendors who failed to follow the client’s processes and tools.
The Impact you’ll makeProspecting and Lead Generation\nBuild and vet targeted prospect lists using the client’s cannabis database\nEnrich and organize lead data; create email lists as needed\nQualify leads based on ICP and compliance requirements\nMulti-channel Outreach and Appointment Setting\nExecute cold outreach via calls, texts, and emails to book demos/meetings\nFollow approved messaging, scripts, and compliance guidelines\nCoordinate scheduling and handoffs for demos with the sales team \nCRM and Data Management\nInput, update, and maintain accurate records and activities in HubSpot\nTrack outreach touchpoints, outcomes, and next steps for all leads\nKeep lists clean, properly segmented, and compliant\nProcess Adherence and Reliability\nUse the client’s designated tools (prospecting database, HubSpot, Gmail, VoIP)\nMeet daily/weekly activity goals and SLAs reliably and consistently\nCommunicate progress and blockers clearly via Slack; follow playbooks and SOPs\nOptimization and Scale\nIdentify ways to streamline workflows; embrace hybrid AI-human processes\nShare field feedback to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion\nSupport evolving needs as the role scales\n
