Apprenticeship Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join our team of skilled and experienced engineers as a trainee Electrical Service Engineer. This is an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in electrical servicing and repairs. The successful candidate will be provided with specialised training, which combines working towards an externally accredited and assessed NVQ qualification, developing new skills and gaining valuable experience whilst working on the job.

Prospects:

This training will last up to at least one year, with the potential of lasting up to 3-5 years depending on the level of NVQ. On completion of this apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Service Engineer, responsible for working towards excellent standards of quality and safety in all aspects of their work. Following a successful apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for the right individual to progress into a permanent role with Integral UK Ltd.

Day-to-day duties:

Wiring installation and testing of electrical equipment Servicing Repairs Reading and interpreting electrical drawings Maintaining accurate records of works completed Adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures on site

Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths and Science is required for this role Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Good level of Attendance, self-discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years oldYou may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.

GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship start date.
