ABS Apprentice
The ABS Apprentice provides administrative support to the assigned department as needed.
What You Will Do:
Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate personnel. Organize and maintain updated Department files Request and order office supplies Prepare reports for the supervisor as requested. Check and respond to e-mails. Customer service for employees.What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
High School - completed or studying.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge and software skills in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent client service skills with an upbeat attitude. Excellent writing skills and use of creative message design principles (i.e., use of language, grammar, spelling, and organizing content) to achieve desired outcomes. Effective verbal communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Must be punctual at work and all required meetings. Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management Systems.Reporting Relationships:
The incumbent reports to the Manager within each area. This position does not have any direct reports.
Working Conditions:
The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen. The team member may assist with various tasks, including filing, talking, and may have to lift between 5 – 15 pounds on occasion.
