The Role:
The Business Administrator Apprentice Level 3 will support the Business Support and Commissioning Team in carrying out their duties, providing administrative support in contract management across a range of housing related projects, assisting with the payment of providers using internal IT platforms, contributing to report writing as requested and assisting the income management team with administrative tasks, as and when required.
The apprentice will support the coordination and delivery of the Team’s Service Plan, and assist in collating and coordinating performance data, data protection requests, and any other business functions on behalf of the Housing Options Service and will learn about business from within a busy and vibrant team.
The apprentice will provide assistance to the team in planning and delivering consultation and engagement, market engagement and quality assurance events with providers, residents, tenants and stakeholders, and assist the Business Support and Commissioning Team to develop and maintain quality monitoring systems and to analyse data that can be used to inform decisions on future service delivery.
The apprentice will also assist in procurement processes and contract management, including agreeing and preparing agendas, minuting meetings and analysing performance and budgetary information. The role also involves assisting with purchase requisitions and receipts, as required, assisting the Commissioning Team with the e-tendering system and associated tasks, and ensuring the webpages are up to date and easily accessible to those who use them.
How you’ll do it:
You will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard. To do this, we will enrol you onto a training programme with a learning provider.
Please note that we will not be able to shortlist any applicants with more than 50% prior learning/work experience of this apprenticeship standard.
Both the learning provider and your manager/team will support your development.
Learning will take place on and off the job during your working hours.
You may need to attend training at the learning provider’s location.

Working Pattern:
This is a fixed term contract for 18-21 months to complete an apprenticeship.
This role will involve a combination of office and home working.
