Join our team as an Apprentice Technician in the Liebherr Mobile Cranes division, where you'll gain hands-on experience working on the field alongside skilled technicians in a supportive and learning-focused environment. This position is designed to provide a foundation for your career in the heavy equipment industry, with direct exposure to the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced mobile crane systems in real-world conditions.
Responsibilities Adhere to company Health, Environmental, and Safety Policies. Troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, engines, gearboxes, and drivetrain, to resolve moderate to complex issues. Participate in daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled, and perform other duties as assigned. Perform standard electrical and mechanical repairs. Learn repair techniques under the supervision of a mechanic. Test vehicles before and after completing repair procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop, customer areas, and inventory spaces. Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in accordance with company policies. Drive and maintain the company-assigned service vehicle in line with company policies. Attend required training sessions. Be flexible for occasional travel locally, domestically, and internationally, as needed. Submit accurate and timely service reports and technical documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service as a representative of Liebherr. Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors and the Liebherr team. Demonstrate the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a dynamic work environment. Competencies Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components. Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including component exchange, repair, and warranty-related tasks. Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey detailed and complex information. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and unsupervised for extended periods.
