What you’ll be doing.

 

What you’ll need to be successful.

Registered apprentice – Truck and Transport Mechanic or equivalent combination of education and experience.3+ years’ experience in diesel engine, heavy vehicle, or agricultural machinery repair, including:

-  Ability to change brake shoes, tires, clutches, transmissions, rear ends, beltings and lacings, and bulk body repairs such as carry back rollers, tail rollers, bearings, etc.
-  Ability to perform accurate inspections on trucks and trailers for MVI.
-  Experience in skid steer maintenance, and familiarity with working on pickups and other company vehicles including removing and installing transport engines. 
-  Preference for candidates with welding and torch experience.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems; proven competence with advanced diagnostic equipment.Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and computerized diagnostic codes.Valid driver’s license.Excellent troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, outdoors, and under pressure; willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in new technologies (e.g., hybrid/electric vehicles, telematics).
