Apprenticeship Success Coach

Reporting to the Director of Apprenticeships, the Apprenticeship Success Coach is a workforce-related role that is responsible for the generation of apprenticeship opportunities for participants. This position will also work closely with the Youth Job Developer, Director, Career Services and Director, Employment Services.
This role will be hybrid.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with the Director of Apprenticeships to design and implement apprenticeship pathways.
+ Guide apprentices through program enrollment, onboarding, and training milestones.
+ Assist in cultivating partnerships with employers to create and sustain apprenticeship opportunities.
+ Work with the Director to develop marketing strategies for recruiting diverse apprentice candidates.
+ Maintain detailed records of apprentice and employer participation.
+ Serve as a liaison between employers, apprentices, and training providers.
+ Associate’s degree and/or a minimum of 3 years job development, placement, workforce or sales experience.
+ Experience working with economically disadvantaged populations, youth ages 16-24 preferred.
+ Experience in job development, career services, and career counseling/coaching or other relevant experience.
+ Experience or familiarity with the registered apprenticeship model is a plus but not required.
+ Advanced computer skills including Pro MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel).
+ Willingness to learn JEVS and funder-specific databases; experience working with data management systems a plus.
+ Well-organized and able to prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
+ Collaborative self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
+ Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays as necessary.
+ Some inner-city travel required. Personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance required.

The base pay for this position is$43,000 - $55,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
