The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

4+ years of experience in development of recons using Java, SQL scripting, Unix scripting, DMW (Data Mapping Wizard) and ETL transformations on data feeds through SFTP and/or API pulls. Resource should be proficient in Capital Markets and Trading flow data for domain level documentation, Jira management and agile practices.If the resources are already in Citi, then expertise on QuickRecs (CSI 166330), Olympus (CSI 167969) will be an advantage.The resource will monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on recon build and enhancements to business users.The developer will consult with users/clients/BAs and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and assist customer with appropriate support in development and testing of recons before release in production.The developer will ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes by ensuring the requirements as per Finance, Business, Risk and Regulatory PMO are met 100% of the time at recon delivery.In case of turnovers/attritions, the developer will serve as coach to new or junior developers.They should have the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and own the deliverables end-to-end vis-à-vis the plan submitted to the Regulators. They should be able to exercise independence of judgement and autonomy and act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members throughout the SDLC.
