Summary: Seeking an APQP Manager to enhance company profitability and competitiveness through effective program management and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
College or university degree in mechanical engineering
10 years of experience in engineering or tooling within the automotive industry
Tool and die experience and/or design
Training in SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, APQP & PPAP, Effective Problem Solving & 8D, DOE
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with company and customer quality systems
Job Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of specific programs from prototypes to production start-up and customer launch
Handle all engineering changes for assigned programs
Ensure products meet engineering/customer and manufacturing specifications
Resolve quality concerns in consultation with relevant departments
Maintain up-to-date drawings and ensure customer requirements are met
Facilitate communication between various departments including production, tool room quality assurance, and engineering
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
