Job Description:

The Lahey Hospital Division of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for a 12-month post-graduate residency. The position includes weekly didactic sessions, clinical outpatient psychiatry (including psychotherapy), consultation-liaison psychiatry, and a learner-selected quality improvement project.  It also offers the opportunity for additional training in one of several subspecialty areas. Hours are Monday through Friday; no nights, weekends or on-call responsibilities. Additional clinical opportunities are available.

Training is intensively structured, mentorship-based, and proceeds with competency-based individualized experiences in a collegial, multidisciplinary environment.  It includes ongoing supervision in a variety of clinical settings and rotations, and ongoing multi-input evaluation.

Requirements: Recent graduate (within one year) from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral Program in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, unrestricted Massachusetts RN and NP licenses.
