**VP/GM of Aquatic Informatics**
The VP/GM of Aquatic Informatics (AQI) is accountable for driving sales and profitability through development and execution of strategic growth plans in a dynamic environment. They will have direct revenue responsibility, which has the potential to more than double over the next five to ten years. Working in close partnership with the VP Product & Strategy, they will provide leadership, structure, and rigor to ensure that Hach has the people, plans, and systems in place to increase revenue growth of our digital solutions.
In this role, the VP/GM of AQI will lead their team in the development and execution of a transformative business strategy that leverages our strong business and technology foundation. They will also be responsible for developing and executing plans that will aggressively grow sales, service, customer-installed base, and market share using allotted resources. Their primary focus will be on leading their group and achieving sales and operating profit objectives, while providing timely, accurate sales and financial forecasting. It will be important for them to maintain familiarity with the industry through robust industry relationships in order to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities. Moving quickly to build trusted relationships with customers, key accounts and internal stakeholders will be essential.
To accomplish these goals, it will be critical for the VP/GM of AQI to sustain a world-class team that leverages the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) and is powered by Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This includes identifying opportunities to “raise the bar” for individuals and the team by instilling their value-selling vision and agenda as an integral part of the company’s goals for success. They will be equipped and prepared to provide deeper insights and best practices to complement their direct reports. In addition, the VP/GM of AQI will make a personal investment in fostering internal relationships to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication, and results.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Lead the cross-functional AQI leadership team in developing and executing business strategy to grow AQI revenue.
+ Serve as a key member of the Hach Product & Strategy Leadership team that sets the company’s strategic direction and demonstrates enterprise-wide leadership.
+ Provide strategic and organizational leadership and full responsibility for the team’s operations from booking and revenue to profit margin.
+ Develop and monitor performance against forecasts and plans, to ensure the achievement of results is within designated budgets.
+ Implement a detailed commercial strategy and sales execution plan to achieve business goals, focusing on the most influential strategic sales initiatives and customer segments.
+ Champion world-class sales management by embracing and evolving Veralto Sales Initiatives and Funnel Management Standard Work. Develop and elevate the sales organization and migrate towards value and solutions competencies.
+ Maintain market and competitor intelligence, developing proactive strategies to maintain Company competitiveness through Gemba field and customer visits.
+ Collaborate with global product management and development to drive the development of new products based on market-validated, valuable problems. Ensure these problems are effectively communicated to and executed against.
+ Ensure the sustainment and success of digital products by overseeing the development and implementation of impactful product launch plans.
+ Work closely with the Professional Services and DevOps teams to deliver sales and operating performance expected by our customers.
+ Create sustainable capability within the commercial organization by identifying improvement opportunities and leading kaizen activities.
+ Drive the continuous deployment and improvement of processes through the Veralto Enterprise System (VES).
+ Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth for AQI and Hach.
+ Hire, train, develop, and coach team members to create an environment of high engagement and performance.
+ Partner closely with Corporate Development and key stakeholders on Merger & Acquisition deals, analyzing opportunities and risks.
+ Reporting to this VP/GM are the following roles: Chief Technology Officer, VP Sales, VP Services, VP Marketing & VES, with additional shared HR and Finance business partners.
**Education, Background and Skill Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of 15 years of successful commercial and business leadership experience.
+ Strong track record of driving substantial revenue growth for new and existing products and services.
+ Must have a high level of strategic agility, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated abilities to drive innovation.
+ Significant experience with financial modeling and business case development, as well as KPI measurement and analytics.
+ Ability to quickly grasp an understanding of water and digital markets: products, players, technologies, and contacts.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop partnership strategies that support organizational goals.
+ Understands the complexity of business needs and decision drivers within an organization. Must be able to consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, and probable consequences.
+ Proven capability to deliver results and drive strategic leadership within large scale organizations.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $245,000.00 - $300,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
