Assists the Aquatic Specialist and Aquatic Sports Coordinator in completing daily tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Employees in this position must be 19 years of age or older. This position is performed under direct supervision. This position is designated as At-Will. Essential Functions Helps support daily programming including swim team practices and meets, swim lessons, public swim, and pool facility rentals. Delivers janitorial and office supplies to facilities when needed. Provides feedback to facility managers to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and safe at all times. Attends daily swim meets to ensure efficiency and maintains league procedures. Assists in onboarding staff and staff training, including staff in-service. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training + High School diploma and + 2 years of experience with aquatic programs and/or sports leagues, + or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Knowledge of: + general customer service and de-escalation techniques. Ability to: + complete assignments in an efficient manner; + understand and comply with all rules, policies, and regulations; + maintain prompt and regular attendance; + communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; and + perform all essential functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor, and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation. Individuals must be capable of operating vehicles safely and have an acceptable driving record. Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training + 4 or more years working in an aquatic environment that included swim teams. + 4 or more years teaching or managing swim lessons. Licensing And Other Requirements + Valid state-issued driver's license. + Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification through the City of Boise or equivalent certifying institution within three months of employment.
