Job Summary:
Assist the OPS Manager/fellow Managerials with the management and day-to-day operation of the Aquatics and Park Service Department.
Reports To:
Operations Management Team
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinates, plans, and conducts Training and In-Service Training of all Supervisors, Lead Guards, Life Guards, and Ride Attendants, to be consistent with the standards set by both Six Flags and Ellis & Associates.Direct supervision of Leads and the general supervision of the Park Service Team Members including guest interaction, restroom cleanliness, midway detailing, safety, back areas, daily inspections, disciplinary action, and employee incentives.Development of departmental leadership schedules and department duty shiftsManage and maintain departmental auditing programsWorking with departmental schedulers to oversee team member schedulesEnsuring Guest First Standards are being followed and enforcedWorking with Guest Relations to field and resolve any guest concernsMaintaining high throughput standards at all aquatic’s attractionsAssist in formulating action plans and analyze data/trends to drive continuous performance improvements and incident reductionMaintain and records documentation of the policies set forth by both Six Flags and Ellis & AssociatesConduct daily audits on restrooms, midways, and our team members to ensure we are providing a friendly, clean, and safe environment.Responsible for the Operations Warehouse (cleanliness, organization, inventory).Mentors all aquatics and park service team members to achieve their goals through positive communication, encouragement, and coachingAll other duties as assignedPay Rate: $18/hr.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive aquatics and/or park service leadership experienceMust be 18 or olderEllis & Associates Special Facilities Instructor License, or the ability to gain license within 6 monthsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnthusiastic and positive attitude to achieve Guest First StandardsStrong attention to detailAbility to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays, and during shoulder monthsAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 75 poundsAbility to operate a motor vehicle and a forklift
