Summary This position is located at Camp Humphreys, DFMWR, Community Recreation Division, Aquatics, Pyong Taek, South Korea. Responsibilities Serves as the Aquatics Program Manager responsible for the daily operation and supervision of aquatic fitness, training and recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities. Plans and establishes an aquatic certification curriculum, fitness and recreational certification and educational programming. Coordinates with the MWR marketing department to publicize aquatic events. Establishes and executes processes to evaluate the effectiveness of the aquatic programs. Develops and updates the Standard Operating Procedures for the aquatic facilities, programs and enforces policies. Ensures adherence to the policies e and Aquatic Risk Management requirements. Responsible for APF and NAF budget. Reviews budget execution reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Possesses demonstrated experience in planning, administering and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor aquatic programs and facilities. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level. An undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology may be substituted for six (6) months of the required work experience. Possesses and maintains the following certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED -Lifeguard Instructor (Red Cross) Water Safety Instructor (Red Cross) Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification Highly Qualifying Criteria: Highly qualified candidates will possess the following certifications: Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (Red Cross) Water Safety Instructor Trainer (Red Cross) Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair) Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification or Aquatic Exercise Association Instructor; Adapted Aquatics Instructor SCUBA Diving Instructor (PADI, NAUI, YMCA or equivalent) Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
