What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a Team Member who cares about the guest and team member experience and is commitment to maintaining our hotel/resort property at the highest level of safety and comfort.

What You’ll Do:

• Conducts aquatic training classes, in-service training drills and internal spot checks

• Responsible to ensure all aquatic areas maintain compliance with the Aquatic Safety Program

• Perform regular spot checks and correct any violations immediately • Lifeguard training classes will be conducted for new hires and recertification of current team members

• Conduct in-service training drills to all team members per the requirements set by the Aquatic Safety Program

• Audits Pool Service Manager’s records of logs/checklists

• Maintains database of all records, logs, and lifeguard certifications

• Responsible to compile data and filter exception reports for distribution to Risk Management and Executive Committee

• Compiles and produces statistical reports used by Risk Management and LHUO Executive Committee Makes suggestion/recommendations for corrective action to Pool Service Manager and hotel Executive Committee when warranted

• Prepare and submit all required certifications and general information to the Aquatic Safety Portal per required standards

• Attend all appropriate meetings

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Other duties as assigned

Your Experience Includes:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Ability to master the Aquatics Safety Instructor Trainer Certification

• Must hold valid Class E Drivers License and meet eligibility criteria for travel throughout resort complex

• Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards • Complies with required safety regulations and procedures

• Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)

• Ability to maintain accurate database files to support document compliance

• Ability to learn and maintain other databases required by Risk Management
