Description We are presenting an opportunity for an AR Accountant to be a part of our team in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. As an AR Accountant, you will be responsible for leveraging the ERP to facilitate accounting tasks with a concentration in accounts receivable. You will interact with various departments and individuals to solve issues and respond to queries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Execute precise and punctual data entry supporting the accounting function • Handle accounts receivable tasks including the receipt and posting of cash receipts, and reconciling outstanding account balances • Prepare and dispatch monthly statements for customers with open balances • Handle billing duties such as recording the fuel logs monthly, generating all invoices out of the ERP to customers, and ensuring the accuracy of all invoices • Perform reconciliations of different balance sheet accounts to verify the accuracy of financial data • Record financial transactions and update the aging report post customer approval • Aid in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
