About the OpportunityDMI, LLC is seeking a Archibus Engineer to join us. You will be responsible for operations and maintenance of the platform as well as designing, developing, and implementing modifications to existing applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Upgrade Archibus to new releases, inclusive of custom coding.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document requirements.Designs, codes, and tests software modifications to address enhancement requestsPrepare test data for unit, system, and integration testing.Coordinates and participates in system, integration, performance, and acceptance testingLog defects and make recommendations on how to resolve defects.Validate defect solutions.Maintains shared responsibility for updating configuration documentation and related configuration management tools to track application changesInteracts with clients and users as required during daily activitiesMaintain records to document program development and revisionsProvide evening and weekend support for outages and deployments QualificationsEducation and Years of Experience:
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.5+ years of experience maintaining and upgrading to new versions, including custom code.Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated experience with Apache Tomcat.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting server and application related issues, identifying the root cause, and developing a solution.Demonstrated understanding of Archibus schema, user permissions, and views.Experience translating business processes/needs into system requirements.Demonstrated experience developing database driven applications with advanced reporting functionalities.Demonstrated experience writing complex queries and library functions at a database level.Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces.Demonstrated skills in RESTful API integration.Solid written and oral communication skills to interact with business and technology teams.
