General Summary:
As an architect of data & analytics, you will lead and architect the design, development, and maintenance of North America’s data management solutions to support business data needs and ultimately support business strategic objectives.
You will develop architectural approaches and solutions and will be responsible for the overall design and development of scalable, globally distributed, robust, and secure products and tools related to data processing and advanced analytics.
You will be expected to work with the users of data and analytics services to understand the technical and business context and to design or re-design solutions. You will work with a network of data engineering experts worldwide, following enterprise standards and industry best practices. You will be supported and expected to constantly learn new technologies, improve your skills, and track the latest industry achievements. You will be expected to lead data & analytics architecture for North America, act as an owner, be self-driven, and ensure achieving the goals. The contribution includes hands-on activities and support to other team members and business stakeholders
This role will report to the Sr. Director of Product Engineering & Delivery in the North America Digital Services organization.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Conduct business and data analysis activities and translate business needs and change requests into a conceptual, logical, and physical architecture design of а solution. This includes coordinating the technical teams needed to deliver the design, including information security.Design, data modeling, develop and deployment of end-to-end Data and Analytics solutions including ETL, data processing, data modeling, security and creation of interfaces to other systems.Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to data modelers and ETL developers to bring improvement and optimizations in the implementation of data warehouses/ data lake, marts and universesDefine, communicate, educate, and implement North America’s data and analytics destination architecture working in conjunction with the global data platform team and standardsEvaluate new technologies and define how to maximize their benefits, such as near real-time/real-time data streaming /data pipelines, cloud big data technologies/ cloud data warehouses, data lakes, etc.Collaborate with the data governance team and other key stakeholders to define and implement policies, and establish standards for data integration, data management, data security, compliance and privacy, and data governanceSupport ongoing maintenance of data analytics products in data lake & warehouseRespond to and collaborate on complex incidents in the Operations data warehouse/ data lake environmentQualification & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering8+ years’ experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data modeling methodologies and techniques Proven experience in architecting enterprise-wide data platforms and data management solutions for large and complex environmentsHands-on experience in cloud and big data technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Notebooks & Azure SQL databaseStrong knowledge of architecting and developing data pipelines and associated technologies (for example, Kafka, Databricks, Spark, etc.)Experience in PowerBI semantic model creation and advanced APIsExperience in Python and/or Pyspark programming languagesProficiency in SQL, query optimization, and relational databasesGood understanding of Github as well as Agile & SDLC methodologiesProven ability to translate business needs into architecture and design requirementsKnowledge of industry-wide technology trends and leading practicesFunctional Competencies:

5+ experience in CPG industryPowerBI, MOLAP, Tableau, etc.Experience in programming languages Scala, Node.jsExperience in AWS datalake, AWS Redshift dataware and AWS glue serviceProven capacity to engage with stakeholders with a design-thinking mindsetSkills:
Pay Range:
$148,000 - $166,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
15Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
