Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Architect in Berwyn, PA.

Duties: Act as the Functional team lead and oversee different functional work streams. Work collaboratively with other members & teams of Envestnet. Cultivate Innovation, not afraid to introduce new tools and frameworks to the team. End to end ownership of frontend architecture and how it relates to the "big picture". Responsible for creating highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of best practices. Review technical decisions and articulate pros/cons of technology options based on personal experience, industry knowledge, and best practice. Successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technology audience. Write architectural specifications and technical documentation and presentations. Research new technologies and prototype new ideas. Help and support developers in implementing architectural suggestions and guidelines. Mentor architects and technical leads to help build effective engineering practices. Consult with other managers to coordinate work efforts across departments. Understand and readily support Envestnet’s established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 10 years of experience in Software Engineer, Architect, or related occupations. Position requires 10 years of experience in Architecting and developing enterprise-class modern complex UI Frontend applications in an agile environment. Requires 5 years of experience in Consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs in a micro-service environment and collaborating on their definition. Requires 3 years of experience in AWS cloud technologies or AWS services for frontend. Requires 2 years of experience in Micro Frontend Architecture/Module Federation. Telecommuting Permitted.
