Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare projects and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. You will be involved in all phases of the project from schematic design through construction documents, ensuring the creation of detailed and accurate construction documents for healthcare and commercial buildings.

ResponsibilitiesExecute a set of construction documents for healthcare and commercial building types.Draft existing conditions from site surveys.Take projects from schematic design through construction documents, including coordination with consulting engineers.Develop construction detailing and specifications.Participate in construction administration, including answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting construction site observations.Research codes as needed.Create 3D working models in SketchUp and realistic renderings for client presentations.Utilize graphic skills and Adobe Creative Suite.Essential Skills5-10 years of experience in healthcare projects, specifically freestanding medical/health facilities and outpatient offices.Proficiency in Revit for full construction documentation.5-10 years of experience with project coordination with engineers, clients, and contractors.Experience in architectural design, construction documentation, design development, schematic design, and construction drawings.Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.Experience using AutoCAD.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on commercial buildings.Ability to use SketchUp or 3D Studio Max for creating photo-realistic renderings.Proficiency in MS Office.Work Environment

The firm recently moved to Red Bank, NJ, and is expanding. Currently, the team consists of two people, with plans to grow. The firm specializes in healthcare projects, including renovations, new buildings, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, freestanding treatment centers, MRI, CT, and other healthcare-related projects in the tri-state area. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering a small office attitude with a collaborative culture. Employees are involved in all phases of the projects, ensuring the designs are built. The firm offers a fun, fast-paced environment with tremendous one-on-one experiences with principals. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, 8 holidays, and a 401k plan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $48.07/hr.
