Your Role

As an Architect at Gensler, you will collaborate with a team of architects and designers to develop innovative design solutions and coordinate projects through the construction administration phase. You will translate sketches and documents into 3D models and detailed working drawings while proactively researching and addressing technical challenges.

What You Will DoContribute to the design and technical delivery of architectural projects.Apply knowledge of architectural principles, technical details, codes, and material characteristics to project development.Participate in all project phases, primarily focusing on design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.Collaborate with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and vendors to achieve project goals.Produce BIM models and construction drawings with precision and accuracy.Resolve complex technical and design challenges by developing innovative and constructible solutions.Support and advocate for sustainability goals throughout all project phases.Engage in climate-focused analysis and studies to enhance project sustainability performance.

Your Qualifications1-3 years of experience in an architectural practice, ideally with hospitality experience. Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent.Licensed or registered architect.Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.

100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written, with excellent verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, construction, and structural systems.

Effective communicator with a collaborative and team-conscious approach.Ability to navigate challenging situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligence.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional skills in Illustrator, Rhino, and Grasshopper are a plus.
