Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. This role will be responsible in managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex tasks or components of larger tasks, meeting financial, quality, time frame and health and safety objectives. Architect I should manage the delivery of elements of larger projects in accordance with Arcadis management systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets. Typically assigned to provide a controlling technical role on medium size and/or moderately complex tasks in single discipline. Coordinates and manages teams of single (own) discipline designers and technicians. This is a task Management Role in line with Arcadis Task Manager Academy competence requirements. This role works to ensure maximum internal stakeholder satisfaction, championing care and proactively working with internal stakeholders. 

Role accountabilities:

Perform role in accordance with Arcadis behavioral framework. Promote Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during the planning and delivery of work. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces
Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice. Develop and maintain technical knowledge (for example, national regulations, regulatory guidance, national standards, codes of practice and Arcadis procedures) to ensure ongoing personal effectiveness. Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources. Monitor the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring any issues are resolved. Develop effective working relationships with the Task Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of progress, changes and the resolution of issues. Coach, guide and provide technical advice to junior team members, to support them in their delivery of the project and in their professional development.

Qualifications & Experience:

Registered Architect with demonstrable experience on wide range of complex projects at different stages. Proficient in Design, Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Adobe Suite, Lumion, Enscape. Minimum 7 years experience architecture design works. Relevant sector experience in all design phases. Hospitality experience would be a plus. Knowledgeable in Navisworks and clash detection is an advantage. Attention to detail and accuracy.  Excellent communication skills. Good English skills.
