As a IaaS Architect, you will get to: 
 

The candidate should be skilled in Azure IaaS services and provisioning, with strong cloud architecture abilities. Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering optimized Azure VMs and disk designs is essential.
 

What you’ll do for Insight:  

Work as part of Insight and client teams, following Agile/Scrum approaches and ceremonies Communicate effectively and professionally with teammates, client personnel, and client stakeholders
Design Azure VM infrastructure and allocated managed SSD disks. Optimize Azure managed SSD disk size without degrading performance. Perform VM disk size optimization at scale with PowerShell script. Provide consulting services to customer on crafting migration strategies. Plan and execute migrations to Azure, utilizing lift-and-shift, app modernization, and other migration strategies as needed. Design and Deploy landing zones. Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and guidelines. Troubleshoot any OS level issues pre/post migration. Troubleshoot Azure migrate appliance issue on VMware/Hyper-V Design azure networking components and firewalls. Perform storage migrations such as file servers’ migration.

 

Technical Skills
 

Excellent understanding of provisioning and optimizing VM and managed disks. Expert understanding of cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure, secondary AWS and/or GCP Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control and key vaults. Experience with networking concepts such as software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers, and firewalls. Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations Experience designing and deploying cloud architectures that include disaster recovery sites, as well as designing, implementing and executing failovers and failbacks In-depth experience in automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Configuration-as-Code (CaC) and management of cloud-hosted resources Expert with Cloud Adoption Frameworks and Well-Architected Frameworks; have solid experience delivering CAF and WAF engagements Strong scripting skills in PowerShell\terraform\bicep. Consulting and Soft Skills High integrity, with a proactive, positive approach to work Ability to present and speak to complex solutions in a client facing delivery or presales role Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple projects at once Agile experience is a plus..

We are looking for a IaaS Architect with: 
 

Background and Experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud providers, or demonstration of ongoing learning 7+ years of experience in consulting services or similar roles focused on project-based work, and/or solution development.  3+ years of leading teammates or being part of large teams on projects
