Job Title: Oracle Cloud Architect (Expert Level)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Cloud solutions for our enterprise. This role involves defining cloud strategies, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture Design:

Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).Architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.Perform cloud assessments and recommend Oracle Cloud technologies.

Solution Delivery and Implementation:

Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Cloud implementations.Develop technical roadmaps and migration strategies for Oracle Cloud.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.

Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation:

Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, including executives, developers, and operations teams.Provide thought leadership on Oracle Cloud best practices, governance, and optimization.Translate business requirements into scalable and cost-effective Oracle Cloud solutions.

Cloud Security and Compliance:

Ensure cloud architecture adheres to security best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Implement robust security measures and disaster recovery solutions.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high service availability.

Collaboration with Oracle Teams:

Work closely with Oracle Cloud Account Managers, Solution Engineers, and other Oracle teams.Stay updated with Oracle Cloud innovations and advocate for new services.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

Lead training sessions for internal teams and clients on Oracle Cloud best practices.Mentor junior cloud architects and technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle Cloud (OCI).Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle ERP Cloud, and other Oracle Cloud services.Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, networking, compute, storage, and automation.Proven expertise in cloud migration strategies, hybrid cloud models, and multi-cloud environments.Expertise in designing and deploying highly available and scalable cloud solutions.Solid understanding of Oracle database management, integration tools, and middleware.Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Cloud Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.Experience in implementing Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SaaS applications.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Oracle Cloud certifications at the Architect Expert level.
