About this role
This boutique sized developer/ builder is keen to establish an in-house design service and is looking for the right person to lead projects and grow a team. They are seeking a versatile architect keen to take on a new challenge. They work across a variety of sectors however in the short term the main focus will be boutique residential projects (luxury houses/ town houses). North side location. 

Key responsibilities Working on high quality residential projects from concept to completion Produce good quality design outcomes  Ensure compliance with local design codes and approval processes Understanding of the market cost of construction, building industry, practices, government rules & regulations Initially work quite autonomously but then build a team Ensure strong client engagement and repeat business  Work closely with builders and Directors to ensure programmes and budgets are successfully met
Skills and experience Relevant qualification in architecture (registration preferred) Full Australian working rights  Demonstrated local experience gained on high quality residential projects CAD Software skills Exposure to all phases of the architectural process Excellent communication skills, both verbally and visually Good knowledge of local codes and standards, and understanding of council controls & regulations A keen eye for detail and professional approach to work
