Insight Global is looking for an Architect to join an Owner's Representative team for a federal construction project. This individual will help provide technical direction to designs submitted by General Contractors and help ensure project delivery. This role supports the Jefferson Building & Library of Congress buildings. You will be assisting managing project timelines, budgets/cost reviews, constructability reviews, procurement & construction phases, and coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have some experince within federal construction projects, and an understanding of federal regulations and compliance requirements. Supporting the Architect of the Capitol, this position offers the unique opportunity to work on some the most historic and iconic buildings in the nation.
Day-to-Day:
* Manage facets of project management including project timelines, budgets/cost reviews, constructability reviews, procurement & construction phases.
* Review technical designs provided by the General Contractor.
* Assist with engagement with the federal customer and provide project updates and reporting from field team.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between the owner and contractors.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on project status.
* Coordinate with federal agencies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with all project participants.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports.
* Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
