Welcome to Arcadis’ Transit Architecture Team - We MOVE People! So can you!

A world not well known to your average A&E Designer—this is where Arcadis’ Transit Architecture Team thrives.

From BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) to LRT (Light Rail Transit) to Heavy Rail.

From Elevated Transit Stations to AG (At-Grade) Transit Stations to UG (Underground) Transit Stations located at the deepest depths below hectic cityscapes.

Within Arcadis’ Transit Architecture Team you’ll play an integral role in the execution of innovative and always forward-thinking Transit Station projects--changing how millions of people navigate their urban surroundings in Toronto, across Canada, through the US and world-wide.  You’ll work with our talented, energetic, award-winning Architectural Design Team. You’ll collaborate with various other disciplines within Arcadis and outside of Arcadis. You’ll collaborate with and serve various clients and industry stakeholders.

This Co-op Opportunity is for a minimum of 8 months with a preference for 12 to 16 months.  

Role accountabilities:

Preliminary Design (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) Preparing/Editing Presentations & Reports (MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel) Preparing Graphics (Adobe Suite) Communication with Architectural Team & Other Disciplines (Written and Verbal) Meeting Coordination (Outlook, MS Teams) Meeting Minutes Preparation (MS Word, MS Excel)

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Enrolled in Bachelor or Master of Architecture Program or Architectural Technologist Program Completed 2-3 years of Architecture program 

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanor and be highly motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with exceptional time management skills. They should excel both independently and collaboratively, thriving in large team environments while maintaining a proactive and self-sufficient work ethic. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively. Proficiency in general CAD software, Adobe applications, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required to succeed in this role. The salary range for this position is $20-33/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
