David Weekley Homes is seeking a qualified Color Consultant for our 3D Elevation Renderings to join our Design Team. This Team Member will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of our award-winning homes. We are looking for a professional with an enthusiastic attitude along with a passion for residential design to share in our success!
Key Responsibilities:
Color Selection: Analyze project specifications and collaborate with design teams to select appropriate paint colors for 3D elevation renderings, considering factors like architectural style, market preferences, and cohesive street scenesColor Application: Apply selected color palettes to paint diagrams, ensuring that colors are accurately applied by our 3D rendering TeamQuality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks on color applications on 3D renderings, verifying that the aesthetics meet established standards and making necessary adjustments to enhance visual appeal.Trend Research: Stay updated with current color trends, materials, and finishes to provide informed recommendations and ensure that renderings reflect David Weekley Homes design preferences.Collaboration: Work closely with designers, 3D visualizers, outside color consultants and vendors to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on color choices and their impact on the overall design.Feedback Integration: Review feedback from customers and Team Members regarding color choices and make revisions as needed to achieve desired outcomes.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of color selections and changes for reference and future projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the design process.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Art, Graphic Design, or a related field. Advanced training or certification in color theory is a plus.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in color consulting, interior design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of work involving color selection.Expertise in color theory and its application in design.Strong eye for detail and aesthetic judgment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for design.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
