About this role
Local Austin Design firm is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join their team. With over 11 years in the Austin area, this socially focused and sustainability forward firm is looking to grow their multi-family and student-housing department. This role will be for someone with strong design skills, who also can work through the technical aspects of projects, with the ability to lead the design process with a team of colleagues. This person will also act as the job captain for projects, meeting with clients, coordinating with consultants and working alongside project managers.

The right candidate should:
 - have 6-10 years of experience as a designer
 - be a strong advocate for the project - working with the city, owner, and consultant team to quide project through to completion
 - have experience with ArchiCAD or Revit
 - experience with student housing projects and/or multi-family projects
 - be a self-starter, and able to work in a collaborative and social environment
