Job Title: Architectural Designer Job Description Our client is a large A/E firm looking for multiple architects for the VA Beach location office. This person will detail, organize, and coordinate technical designs to successfully execute architectural projects. They will be working on 1-2 projects with project teams in the range of $20-30 million in size for basebuilding municipal and federal projects. Most of their work now is local DOD projects. Responsibilities include performing basic architectural tasks including calculations, specifications, reports, and related data tables, preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required, and under the direction of the Supervising Architect, independently performing advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. The role also involves coordinating technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and departments participating on assigned projects, assisting in the training and mentoring of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel, reviewing and approving conceptual designs, and assisting in the development of new architectural methods and techniques. 75% of the time will be spent in production while 25% of the time will be spent in CA/Client facing. Work Environment Will work onsite at their VA Beach location office. Hybrid schedule Tuesday-Thursday in office.
