Architectural Designer
Modeling, preparing drawings and sketches using revit and applicable software, applying suitable design criteria. create conceptual models based on verbal direction or rough sketches from architects or other designers. Manage and incorporate redlines from others. Maintaining reliable work practices to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Coordinating with related disciplines to resolve design. proactively advancing workflows, systems, and tools, including design automation skills. Provide quality reviews of models and documents prepared by others to assure design and project standards are met. Create plans and gather design requirements for new and/or remodeled structures. Design alterations or repairs to existing structures. Designers focus on the look and style of the project while adhering to building requirements and codes. Responsible for adhering to company standards and developing the architectural discipline. Responsible for complex analysis to design innovative solutions for the development and execution of unique and/or customized projects and project delivery. Responsible for participating in the timely and cost-efficient completion of an architectural project. Create designs to meet client specifications, participate in the creation of project budgets and time estimations, and act as an intermediary between the client and the architect team. #LI-DNI REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture and 2 years of work experience in Architecture related occupation. SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Revit 3D modeling. Sketch up, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Navisworks. Pre-design, programming, initial project preliminary research. Conceptual Design based on project programming and research. Construction document development. Inter-discipline coordination, client and consultant engagement (meetings and coordination with a wide range of project participants). Construction and contract administration.
