The Architectural Designer will perform various phases of coordination, development, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, and preparation of construction documentation and environmental plans as part of a project team. This position will design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing for a diverse portfolio of industrial and commercial project types and clients.
Produce a full range of architectural drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.Develop project specific design and program requirements.Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.Conduct code analysis of designs.Complete assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, sizing various system components and refining rough sketches.Create schematic architectural designs and present designs to internal staff and clients.Interpret and apply design codes and specifications related to architectural design requirements.Review design drawings to ensure they are within scope, budget and schedule.Assist with managing schedules, budgets and project criteria into architectural design and layouts.Review and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.
