Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity in one of our 28 offices or remote work for an Architectural Designer II who will provide design support to Ware Malcomb offices!
Architectural Designers are responsible for assisting in the development and production of design concepts and graphics through the use of 3D renderings, computer illustration and hand drafting. You will also assist in completing planning packages and in the research and documenting of materials.
The Architectural Designer opportunity at Ware Malcomb provides extensive opportunity for growth, learning and development.Architectural Designer II Responsibilities:Responsible for development of smaller design tasks or modifications to concepts. Responsible for production of graphics through use of 3-D renderings, computer illustration and computer drafting. Assist in developing and production of design concepts through use of studies (2-D and 3-D; hand and computer). Assist in completing planning packages. Assist in researching and documenting materials and specification.Architectural Designer II Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in the field of Commercial Architectural Design. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up and Revit skills.Familiarity with presentation, photo editing and modelling software.Model making and illustration abilities preferred.Basic understanding of site and building design.Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.Established in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.
