Architectural Job Captain
Job Description:

This role involves overseeing project teams, participating in the design process, and ensuring compliance with various codes. The Job Captain will be responsible for coordinating team efforts, managing project schedules and budgets, and maintaining client relations.

Projects: 100% retail

ResponsibilitiesOversee the project team and ensure seamless coordination.Work on multiple projects simultaneously.Participate actively in the design process.Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Review architectural drawings for compliance with federal, state, and local codes.Monitor the progress of all construction phases.Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, and consultants.Maintain responsibility for project schedules and budgets.Build and maintain strong client relations.Assist with construction administration tasks.Essential SkillsArchitectural design expertise.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Project management skills.Experience in retail and commercial building design (preferreed)Minimum of 5 years of AutoCAD design experience.At least 1 year of experience in Job Captain or project management duties.Additional Skills & QualificationsRegistered Architect certification is a plus.Experience with child care clients is desirable.Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). During the initial 12 months, you will be employed through Actalent Services where you will have access to full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k). After 12 months you will be eligible to transition to the engineering firm as a direct employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
