Job Description
We are currently hiring for an Architectural Associate to join a reputable architecture firm in Downtown Columbus, OH that primarily focuses on healthcare design. As an Architectural Associate, you'll collaborate with designers, architects, interior designers, and project managers on architectural documents and presentations. This role is a journey toward architectural registration and continuous professional growth.
ResponsibilitiesPerform professional responsibilities with a strong focus on collaborative teamwork.Collaborate on and contribute to specific sections of architectural documents throughout various project phases, ensuring the preservation of program integrity, design intent, and technical excellence.Attain client objectives within the defined project scope, budget, and schedule, while upholding a client-centric approach.Execute all tasks with the highest level of technical accuracy, adhering to company standards.Proactively seek out resources, mentors, and industry trends for ongoing skill development.Generate schematic designs, floor plans, and architectural renderings.Coordinate effectively with engineers and consultants.Create precise and independent construction documents.Assist in the permitting process and liaise with regulatory agencies.Provide support for marketing initiatives as required.Actively participate in construction phase documentation reviews.Essential SkillsProficiency in architectural designExperience with Revit architectureExpertise in healthcare designAbility to create architectural drawings, detailing, and plansKnowledge of commercial constructionAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Architecture1-2 years of experience producing construction documents within Revit for commercial buildingsWork Environment
Hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. New hires are required to work in the office for the first 90 days for training purposes. Work hours are Monday to Thursday: 9 hours, and Friday: 4 hours.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00
401k contribution & DesignGroup pays up to a 2% match
100% of the employee's healthcare premium is paid by DesignGroup & then any family members added are paid 30% of the premium
Profit sharing
Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 from home; for new hires, you are required to work in the office for the first 90 days for training purposes; Monday - Thurs: 9hrs & Friday: 4 hrs;
Paid Holidays: 6.5 days; 5 days of sick pay; more vacation is given to an employee from their years of experience
