A nationally recognized architecture and design firm is looking to add an Architectural Project Manager to their team!
Job Description:
The Architectural Project Manager will be the main client contact and oversee all aspects of the project, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. The position is one of leadership and includes mentoring and developing other staff members. This position may be exposed to a variety of healthcare, education, civic, housing, and commercial architectural projects.
Oversees a team of architects to ensure projects are completed on time and to specificationsDelegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraintsInterfaces with principals, project teams, consultants, and clientsWorks in tandem with highly collaborative multi-disciplinary design teamsConducts site planning and zoning researchAttends planning and zoning, and/or municipal meetingsProvides code review and analysis for project teamCreates detailed plans for complex architectural construction drawingsIdentifies and maintains project schedules, cost projections, and budget estimatesDirects, supervises, and confirms activities of project team engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for all phases of projectsUtilizes Bluebeam to organize project material and review drawingsPrepares and coordinates packagesPerforms and/or oversees construction administration tasks, including submittal review, fieldwork, and documentationUnderstands proposals, contracts, and identifies scope of additional servicesMay participate in the pursuit and marketing of potential projectsRequirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or a related field with technical architecture experience8+ years of related work experience is requiredTechnical knowledge, development, coordination, and review of construction documentationEffective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeCommitment to and experience with sustainable designEffective communication, negotiation, and consulting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, TeamsCost estimating skills are preferredArchitectural license highly preferredPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
