Architectural Project Manager
Architectural Project Manager in Des Moines!!! Job Description We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work on various projects, including Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, and Federal. You will assist with client relationship development, ensure compliance with codes and regulations, and produce construction drawings and reports using Revit. Your contributions will support feasibility studies, programming, schematic design, and safety assessments. Responsibilities + Manage architectural projects across various sectors including Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, and Federal. + Assist with client relationship development. + Ensure compliance with codes and regulations. + Produce construction drawings and reports using Revit. + Prepare technical and front-end specifications. + Provide architectural design. + Support feasibility studies, programming, schematic design, and safety assessments. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit. + Licensed Architect. + Proficient in architectural design and project management. + Knowledge of design development, construction documents, and as-built phases. + Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, StruCalc, and Adobe Suite. + Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Professional degree in architecture (Iowa registration preferred). + 3+ years of relevant experience preferred. Work Environment The position is primarily onsite in the Des Moines office, with some travel to local projects, client meetings, and collaboration with team members in other offices. The company offers PTO/Holiday pay during the contract period, with additional benefits once a direct hire. The organization is a well-known local design-build company with 40+ years in business, providing opportunities to lead the central Iowa office architecture team and support projects throughout the state.
