Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all phases of construction are completed on time.Procure services for construction and supplemental vendors required for complete project execution.Coordinate and monitor vendor activities (engineers, architects, general contractors) for compliance to contractual responsibilities.Coordinate client engagement within overall program, facilitate the decision making process.Monitor budget, schedule and project risk items; facilitate issue resolutionEnsure implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projectsEffectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and support staff
The qualifications. Architecture Degree from an accredited college or university5-8 years building, design and construction experience in the following areas: project management, architecture/planning, engineering, or construction fieldExperience working for an Owner’s Facility Team or as a consultant is preferredConstruction cost estimating experience is desirableProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Scheduling Software; Familiarity with BIMQualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate for this opportunityFrequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 20% overnight travel
