Role Introduction
You will be working in our Community Environments (CE) Market, whereby joining you’ll have the unique opportunity to design and deliver healthy, thriving mixed-use communities. From hospitality interiors to multi-family residence design, we create mixed-use environments that foster wellness and community. Specializing in Master Planning, Mixed-Use, Multi-family, Affordable Housing, Hospitality, Interiors, Office, High-rise and Retail Development.
Our new Project Manager will lead project teams through all phases of project execution including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration. They are also responsible for managing project schedules, and the financial performance of the work. Externally they focus on building strong client relationships, and upholding MG2s standard for design excellence while serving as the main point of contact for all project related communication.

What your day will look like:
Manage project teams through all project phases. Primary responsibility is ensuring project deliverables are aligned with the contract, completed in conformance with the project schedule and budget, and continually meet MG2 standards for quality. Work within the MG2 protocols for design and delivery. Ensure required contracts are in place prior to beginning execution of contract deliverables. Create and maintain accurate milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans. Create or ensure accurate creation of meeting minutes. Create and maintain detailed Project Charters including a comprehensive QA/QC plan for all project work. Assist with the development of project proposals and RFP responses as requested. Continuously monitor project financial status and complete intermediate financial reviews with Team Leads or Principal-in-Charge (PIC). Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing. Produce weekly project updates, including documentation regarding contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports. Lead or direct all internal and external project team meetings. Actively participate in all Quality Control procedures including review of all externally distributed project deliverables. Oversee all team activities during Construction Administration including weekly reviews of RFI and Submittal logs and attendance during project OAC meetings. Additional responsibilities include detailed review of all site visit reports and punch lists prior to issuance. Host both internal and external project debrief meetings following completion of construction activities; focus on opportunities to continuously improve service level and results. Initiate project-close out procedures following substantial completion; finalize in alignment with contractual obligations. Manage internal and external resources; ensure consistent quality and project profitability. Continuously manage the performance of team members; consistently provide accurate and relevant feedback as needed. Perform monthly 1:1 check-ins with all internal team members. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm. Licensed Architect preferredDemonstrated experience leading teams and working with teams, through all phases of milestone-based project delivery. Demonstrated ability to lead and help lead coordination of projects with consultant team. Ability to work on multiple-scale projects. Mixed-Use and Multi-family experience is preferred. Affordable housing experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures. Proficiency with Revit, Auto-CAD, and MS Office. Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams. Experience with NYC and/or other jurisdictions with regard to zoning review and analysis. Ability to manage up and down a project team.Ability to set clear expectations and guidelines for teams to carry out project tasks. National Salary Ranges:
Project Manager: $80,000 - $124,000
Senior Project Manager: $100,000 - $152,000
Please note that this role is a salaried and exempt position, and therefore, is not eligible for overtime pay.
If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted. Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset.
