About the role
We are offering a unique opportunity for an Architectural Sales Consultant to join our dynamic and high-performing national commercial sales team in the South Island region. In this role, you will be the face of our brands, engaging with a diverse range of clients such as commercial hardware distributors, architects, specifiers, developers, construction companies, and security consultants. Your territory will include Christchurch as well as a territory across the South Island, requiring some travel (approximately four nights per month).
What you will bring
Experience: Minimum of three years in sales within the building and construction industry.Client Engagement: Proven experience working with architects, developers and key distribution partners.Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive profitable business growth through exceptional service.Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.Technical Affinity: Comfort with technical products, including those with mechanical and electronic functionalities.Educational Background: A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous but not essential.What’s in it for you
