Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. 

Arcadis Calgary office is searching for a Architectural Technologist to join its growing Government and Civic Practice Group. You will be a part of the team that will support with design development, working drawings and detailing. The successful candidate will offer a robust portfolio of details and construction documents showing an array of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process. As the successful candidate, you will be an out-of-the-box thinker with a talent for developing creative detailing solutions. The successful candidate can work hybrid or a work-from-home office environment, but must be located within one hour from Calgary.

Role Accountabilities:

Prepare working drawings on a number of different projects using RevitPrepare documentation - design development, building permits and tender packagesCoordinate the architectural and engineering disciplines along with external consultants to produce high quality and well coordinated documents for constructionSupport design and production teams

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma in Architectural Technology2-7 years of experience in an architectural firmStrong communication (written and verbal) skillsMUST be a proficient user of Revit and Microsoft Office software knowledge and experienceExperience with project coordination and possess a strong ability to meet tight project deadlinesMust submit a portfolio of work in PDF which is under 10MB or a web link to your portfolio site

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $95,000 year (depending on years of experience and location).
