Your role:
We have an exciting Archivist 1 role available in Glasgow to support our GLP and GMP contract testing laboratories. In this role, you will maintain and manage documents in the archive, including receiving, checking, organizing, indexing, and removing documents as necessary. You will play a crucial role in archiving data in compliance with local procedures and regulations, ensuring quality is integrated into every aspect of our business. Your Key Responsibilities will be:
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate training records and adhere to Health and Safety Executive regulations.
• Perform duties according to GLP and GMP principles.
• Assist in managing archive activities and ensure compliance with SOP standards.
• Maintain electronic and paper-based systems for efficient data logging and recall.
• Coordinate with external archive providers for data retrieval requests.
• Control access to the master document directory.
• Support the issuance of document numbers and controlled documents as needed.
• Assist in preparing SOPs and training modules and conduct training when required.
Who You Are:
• Ideally educated to Higher level or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a similar role within a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Strong communicator, able to interact effectively with operational teams and QA colleagues.
• Ideally experienced in using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Organized and logical in managing workload and delivering projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
Please note although this role is primarily based in Glasgow however flexibility to work and travel within central Scotland (supporting company sites in Stirling and Edinburgh as required) is required.
