General Description:

Reporting to the National Sales Director

The BeiGene Japan Area Coordination Manager will co-develop area strategic & tactical plans together with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and execute those plans collaborating with RSM to exceed sales goals.

Accountable for local KOL management, local speaker development and local sales event strategy development connecting between MR’s territories

The Area Coordination Manager at BeiGene Japan will be hub function to connect between marketing, medical and sales department to timely and consistently share necessary information and resolve issues among function if any

Proactively support MR for efficient territory plan including sales event and account plan collaborating with RSM and scientific knowledge enhancement collaborating with sales trainer.

Responsibilities: 

Develop area strategy with area market analysis and tactics plan collaborating with RSM and monitor area tactics plan, and revise accordingly.

Responsible for developing local KOL management strategy and tactics plan, and it’s implementation.

Responsible for developing local speaker development plan and it’s implementation.

Responsible for developing local sales event strategy connecting between MR’s territory and it’s implementation.

Serve as a hub function for marketing, medical and sales departments to share information in a timely and consistent manner.

Support own area RSM/MR to develop efficient sales event plan.

Support own area RSM/MR to enhance scientific knowledge collaborating with sales trainer.

Leads as a content expert in the Hematology & Oncology marketplace with RSM.

Co-Develops a culture of continuous learning & development with SM

Qualification Required:

Education/Experience Required: 

Bachelor’s Degree

5 years Hematology & Oncology experience(Preferred)

Qualifications:

This position requires a B.A. / B.S. with previous pharmaceutical sales or marketing experience preferred.

The ideal candidate should have 8 plus years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, with significant Hematology & Oncology experience and a proven track record of success in sales role.

Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes as well as previous national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals and Medicare Part D, etc.

Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial roles, such as marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, etc.

Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)

Familiarity with CRM software

Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales.

Ability to actively engage in developing new business.

Must demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.

Dedicated to making customer service a priority.

Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style.

Adept in build trusted advisor relationships.

Computer Skills: Highly skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Other Qualifications: Expertise in conducting Crucial Conversations and providing the Hematology Sales Representatives with the tools for talking when stakes are high, emotions run strong, and opinions vary.

Travel: 50%
