Area Director (Las Vegas, Nevada)

This is a rare and great opportunity for the right candidate to lead one of the largest Chrysalis programs. Britni Richards is leaving this position to become the VP of Operations for the Chrysalis Nevada area. This is a very exciting opportunity. This position will require that the person offered this job either reside or move to Las Vegas, NV. *Moving Allowance is included for moves over 50 miles from the current location.

Position  Summary:
Chrysalis provides exceptional, quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in residential, day services, and other settings.  The Area Director is responsible for all operational functions related to these services for a specified geographic area.   This includes supporting individuals served and their teams, supervising personnel (e.g., mentoring Associate Directors, Managers, and others), creating an atmosphere that facilitates strong growth, maintaining financial viability of the program, and serving as a liaison between Chrysalis and our contracting partners.  In all these duties, the Area Director is responsible for upholding and embodying the company’s core values of respect, safety, fun, mentoring, and accountability
Selected Highlights of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and mentor Associate Directors, Managers, and other positions Ensure high quality outcomes (including health and safety of individuals served) in all home, day sites, and other settingsEnsure all services are provided in accordance with Chrysalis’ service contracts and policiesLead and organize weekly correlation meetings and other key business meetings within the areaBe on-call and support all team members in the area to respond to urgent situationsMaintain excellent relationships with individuals served, their team members, and Chrysalis’ contracting partners (state agencies and other key stakeholders)Oversee all revenue and expenses for the area and ensure financial viability of the programReview and approve all individual service budgets/contracts/authorizationsFoster program growth and oversee all intakes and discharges within the areaSecure and maintain all housing needs for individuals in residential settings, and ensure the homes are maintained in accordance with Chrysalis’ high quality standardsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. Experience as an Associate Director or Senior Associate Director.  Minimum of 21 years of age. Must pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must be able to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
