What you need to bring to this role:
Achieve market share objectives by formulating and executing a coverage expansion plan to aggressively increase the width and depth of outlet coverage and Diageo brands exposure.
Conduct periodical business reviews with all accounts and propose actions to accelerate growth.
Enhance corporate relation with customers and trade through networking and participation and supporting of trade related activities – in order to achieve commercial advantage.
Recommend the optimal mix of FTT (Funds to Trade) to drive distribution and selling volumes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, identify counter opportunities and prepare monthly market and competitor intelligence reports.
Assist in local level market research activities in co-ordination with the Brand Manager and/or Brand Executive.
Develop an area coverage contact plan on a quarterly and monthly basis with objectives by account and outlet to maximize selling time, efficiency of call schedule and strike rate.
Maintain complete data integrity and accuracy through the TMS (trade marketing software)
Deliver Measurement & Evaluations (M&E) of all promotional activities (to understand success), including maintaining compliance to trading terms agreed
Exemplary contract management in terms of QDVP, activation, utilization of budget and relationships.
Manage and execute outlet contracts with a focus on prices, quantity, spaces and planned activation.
Ensure outlet conformance to iris/ Diageo commercial policy and legislation and outlet agreement.
Ensure compliance to DMC. (Diageo Marketing Code)
