Overview:
The Area Manager of the Print Shop is responsible for organizing and managing the Reproductions Department and the Knottās Berry Farm Post Office.
**Salary details based on experience: $67,800 - $80,000/yr.**
Responsibilities:
+ Works with other departments on various design projects.
+ Coordinates the completion of print projects through in-house methods or outsourcing based on cost-effectiveness.
+ Oversees and assigns daily tasks to the Reprographics Operator.
+ Coordinates with Purchasing for outside bids for jobs that require outsourcing.
+ Operates and maintains the various in-house printing equipment.
+ Assists in developing and administrating the annual department budget; aids in adjusting and forecasting the budget throughout the year.
+ Orders supplies needed to complete projects and maintain the equipment
Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree / vocational or technical school with a focus in printing or graphic design preferred.
+ At least 2-4 years of prior experience in printing or graphic designed preferred.
+ At least 1-3 years of previous supervisory/leadership experience required.
+ Knowledge of and skilled in the use of various design software. Skilled in the use of and the maintenance of various printing equipment.
+ Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
