Purpose of Role: To support Weir Minerals Indonesia business by providing: 

Focused aftermarket support for all Weir customers to ensure strong original equipment, spare parts and service business performance.Understanding of the most crucial needs of key customers, engaging all necessary integrated solutions, product and service specialists to provide outstanding levels of customer service.Relationships with the customer through face-to-face contact, fostering trust, reliability and strength through knowledge of Weir’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
· Focus Area: Strategies & General Management

Develop marketing strategies in conjunction with the Country Manager IndonesiaPromote We are Weir and live by Weir ValuesDevelop Integrated Solutions for customers to accelerate their businessesCommissioning, troubleshooting and aftermarket support of Weir products supplied into the area of responsibilities


· Focus Area: Reporting

Regular detailed measurement of TOC “Total Ownership Costs”, whereby reporting of current TOC, improvement and savings is a routine activity.Trial proposals to be presented based on a commercially justifiable business case to improve the customer’s TOC.Track & report market share and opportunity GAP analysis focusing on closing the gap.Provide accurate quarterly budgeting and forecasting, with new business development delivering growth year on year. Achieve and exceed overall business sales revenue input targets for allocated customers.Develop and achieve growth and aftermarket retention strategies that cascade down into site specific objectives customized to individual customers’ needs.Report weekly on past and planned activities and provide details of significant market issues (customer and competitor).Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly Key Account ReportsPrepare Call Reports following each customer visitRegister customer complaints within 24 hours and initiate Corrective Action Reports (CAR). Follow up root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implement for customer quality issues.Measure prospects for all Weir products and services, gather market intelligence and report out on GAP analysis.


· Focus Area: Communications / Negotiations & Interactions

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry processes, competitors and commercial influences.Be the voice of the customer within Weir Minerals Indonesia to deliver the desired outcomes for the Customer and Weir.Negotiate pricing reviews and supervise supply contract negotiation such as FPA’s.Take responsibility for customer relationships and add value to their business.Prepare and maintain all customer records.


· Focus Area: Customer Liaising/Networking

Build rapport and respect as the trusted advisor representing Weir at the Customer sites.Ensures Customers receive first-class customer care and service as measured via the Weir Net Promoter System (NPS); where customer feedback is monitored, and action plans put in place to bridge any gaps in the Customer’s perception of Weir Minerals.Approximately 70% of working time to be spent face to face with Customers.Support Weir Integrated Solution, product and service specialists through joint sales calls.Train key Customer personnel in the application and operation of Weir equipment.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a sales role within the minerals processing industry or similar, managing multiple products and services.

Prior experience with Weir Products would be highly advantageous.

A tertiary education in an engineer discipline or trade qualification would be preferable.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability: 

Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting capability in a technical environment.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Spreadsheet, Word Processing, SAP, Outlook, PowerPoint

Work Environment:  

Moderate office environment with regular exposure to loud mine sites.Appropriate PPE should be worn in sites and workshop environments.
